1. Is Fight: Mortal Kombat compatible with Cerberus games or with DC Deck-Building Game: Injustice?
This is the first game in the Fight game line, which is a new branch on the Cerberus tree. Standard DC DBG is Cerberus Heroes while Injustice is part of the Cerberus Brawl branch. While most of the core Cerberus mechanics of Power and deck-building are present in Fight games, a lot was changed to speed up the games and get right into the fierce action. The cards from these games can be played together, but you will find the abilities on Fight cards to be more aggressively costed than on their DC DBG counterparts and things like card type have been completely removed. You’ll have to be more selective in how you mix these games with each other or use our Mixing Games Rules that we will post after the campaign.

2. Are there differences between the two versions of the Fight: Mortal Kombat 1 base game?
The covers are the only difference. The cover with three characters and no logos is Kickstarter Exclusive. Regardless of which cover you get, the game should have the same components, including all applicable stretch goals.

3. How do I find out how much shipping will be?
The shipping chart on the Campaign page breaks down approximately how much each tier will cost to ship. These rates are best estimates. Final shipping rates could very well be slightly higher or lower depending on factors out of our control. Shortly after the campaign, you will be invited to complete a BackerKit survey, which involves filling out your shipping information and paying for shipping.

4. How is shipping calculated?
It is based on both the weight and dimensions of the items and the boxes used to ship the items. We are doing our best to charge you only what it costs to ship you your items.

5. When do I pay shipping?
It will be charged in the pledge manager powered by BackerKit after the campaign.

6. Do I have to pay VAT?
If we import your rewards into the UK and EU, we will have to pay a VAT (value-added tax) based on the value of the product (i.e., the sales price). The percentage is based on the specific country we are importing to and is included in the shipping rates.

7. Will there be a pledge manager/survey? Do I need to complete it?
Yes, if you pledge, a short time after the campaign you will be invited to a survey powered by Backerkit that will allow you to provide your shipping information, upgrade your tier, choose additional add-ons, and pay for shipping. You NEED to complete your survey; otherwise, we won’t even have an address to ship your rewards.

8. Can I get multiple copies of the different rewards?
Yes, you can choose most items and tiers as add-ons if you would like more than one. You can do this on Kickstarter or after the campaign in the pledge manager powered by BackerKit.

9. How do I order the add-ons shown on the Kickstarter page?

Also, after the campaign, there will be a pledge manager that will allow you to choose more add-ons or adjust the quantity on the ones you ordered.

13. I’m a retailer. Will I get all the stretch goals if I pledge for either Retailer Tier?
Yes! Pledging during the campaign is the only way to get the various Kickstarter Exclusives, including stretch goals.
Last updated: February 27, 2026 15:31
14. Can non-retailers pledge for either Retailer Tier?
No, the Retailer Tiers are strictly for retailers for brick-and-mortar locations. We want to support the local hobby stores that are the backbone of our industry. Game groups and online-only retailers do not qualify for this tier. We will verify retailers after the campaign and will cancel Retailer Tier pledges that are made by non-retailers.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
